January Blog Event & Prize Package!

Happy New Year to everyone! Welcome to January's Cooking with Alicia & Annie blog event! Deadline for this month's submissions is january 31, 2009. If you haven't participated before we are happy to have you join us! Please see the general instructions on November's post for how to participate.

Those who participate for the month of January will be added to the blogroll and will be entered into a drawing to receive this awesome Extremeware dinnerware set graciously provided by Kid Smart Living!

    Here is a crock pot entry for me. I made broccoli cheese soup. It was great and really easy to make. It also required very few ingredients so it was inexpensive to make. This one's a winner.

    I tried to make a cajun dinner last night of red beans and rice, Cajun chicken strips, and fried pickles (My husband loves those). The beans took SO LONG!!! It didn't work out. Well, they are done now and I tried them today.

    This was a crock pot dish.
